How do I open an account?

To open an account, register on our website.
Follow the instucton, complete verification and continue your onboarding.

In which languages is the Opsy app available?

The Opsy application is currently available in English. We are hoping to add more soon.

What is the legal age for using an account?

Individuals aged 18 and older and legal entities can open an Opsy account after completing registration and verification.

How long does the verification process take?

The verification process takes up to 48 hours from document receipt.

How do I provide documents for verification?

For Primary verification, use our Account Management System to upload documents.

For Secondary verification, send notarized copies to our UK office.

What documentation do I need to open an account?

You'll need an ID document and a document to confirm your current address.

How do I open an account in another currency?

Use the Exchange option in the menu to convert your account to the desired currency.

What is a certified translated document?

A certified translation is signed and dated by a professional translator with official certification or court oath.

Loading Funds

How to load an account?

Load your account via SEPA or Wire transfer. Find instructions in the Account Management System.

How long does it take to load an account?

SWIFT payments take up to 2 business days, and express payments up to 7 business days.

What are the costs of a bank wire account loading?

Commission fees and accepted currencies are customizable. Calculate fees in the Calculator.

Is there any additional cost to collect my money?

No, transfer commissions are paid by the sender.


Where can I see the balance of all my currencies?

Access your currency balances in the Account Management system under your account number.

What do I do if I expect to receive money in a currency I don't have yet?

Payments will be received in the sent currency, as we offer multi-currency accounts.

How many accounts can I have?

Only one account per person is allowed within the Opsy system.

Do you offer an escrow service or any kind of buyer protection?

We do not offer escrow services.

What is a multi currency account?

Opsy Multi-Currency Accounts allow you to hold various currency balances on one account.

What currencies do Opsy accounts support?

Opsy provides payment solutions in EUR, USD, GBP, and CZK to over 100 countries.

What is an IBAN?

IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number, used in EU countries and others.

How do you find your IBAN?

Your IBAN can be found in your Opsy account.

I posted a request for an exchange, but it has not been processed yet. Why?

Ensure you have sufficient funds, and if issues persist, contact Customer Support.

Where can I check Opsy's exchange rates?

Opsy exchange rates are updated every 5 minutes in the Account > Forex services tab.

Is there any interest rate on Opsy accounts?

No, Opsy accounts do not accrue interest.

Are there any maximum balance limits?

There are no maximum balance limits for Opsy accounts.

Is there a minimum opening balance for an account?

No, there is no minimum opening balance.

Can I use the Opsy app if I do not have an Opsy account?

Yes, you can download the app, but features will be limited.

How do I know that my recipient has received the money?

Check the status of your transfer online or using the mobile application "Check transfer."

How do I change my personal and contact information?

Contact Opsy Customer Support to request changes.

How can I send a bank wire transfer?

Fill out a form in the Accounts tab > Withdrawal: Wire transfer.

How much money can I send?

Daily limits are set at EUR 7,000 for outward cash money transfers and EUR 9,000 for inward cash money transfers.

What is SEPA payment?

SEPA stands for Single Euro Payments Area and is used for EUR payments.

How long does it take to send money?

Opsy offers fast transfers, typically taking 15 minutes.

I incorrectly stated something in the payment details, what do I do?

Why are some exchanges not processed immediately?
